The boss… Mr F… Rob is the main man here at R&B!
A hunter, clay smasher, instructor and all-round countryside lover, Rob’s knowledge and love for all things shooting was ignited by his father and school at the tender age of 10. Winning multiple national competitions in his teens and qualifying as an instructor at 18.
Fast forward a few years (!) and his exceptional and detailed knowledge of guns, rifles and their accessories has enabled Rob to establish and successfully grow the business largely via word of mouth and recommendation.
Partial to a cappuccino and the occasional KFC, Rob is also a busy Dad of three and husband to Clare. Helping out as assistant coach to his eldest son’s footie team in Hereford and catching as many Liverpool games as he can… as well as plenty of clay smashing, hunting and game shooting of course!

Clare Farquhar
Director
In charge of keeping the engine of the business running smoothly, Clare is Rob’s right hand woman in both life and business 🤩
Previously working in the world of Marketing for local, national and international clients and specialising in PR, Clare heads up the Finance and Marketing side of R&B.
A regular beater at local shoots in her childhood, Clare’s love of shooting and the countryside really blossomed after meeting a certain teenage Rob back in the 90s 🥰 (aawww)
Her passion for the outdoors covers both land and sea, being a keen sailor, skier and mountain scaler as well as novice clay shooter.
A busy mum of three, plus Pip the sprocker and Olive the docker (it’s a long story!) and keeping Rob in check (!) Clare loves nothing more than a good night out 💃🏻hitting the dance floor after a few cocktails and teaching anyone that’s willing the best moves to Dancing Queen 💃🏻 👸

Known as the deer whisperer (🦌shhhhh) our customers benefit from Kev’s huge and varied, tried and tested real life advice on rifles, air rifles, pest control, hunting accessories, optics and clothing. He lives and breathes hunting and rifles and is totally at home stalking in the Herefordshire countryside with his side kick Jim.
A firm believer in field to fork, Kev butchers his own game, having previously worked for a local butcher in Ledbury.
Husband to Emma and a busy dad of five, Kev spends a lot of his free time driving his daughter to show jumping competitions around the country and on the touch line supporting his son playing footie.

Ellie Butcher
Marketing & Retail Executive
A true multi-tasker Ellie is the newest member of the R&B team. Responsible for keeping our social media channels publishing, tweeting and pinging, writing our newsletter and keeping our website up to date amongst many, many other things… we aren’t sure how we would keep all the plates spinning without her!
When not in the shop you can find Ellie looking after a flock of pedigree Shropshire Sheep & Badger Face Texels with her beloved Collie pup Fig on the family farm near Ledbury, or out and about competing with her team of young horses as well as looking after several horses in livery.
Partial to a cocktail or two, Ellie is also a master baker (Yum!) with a very sweet tooth! Buy her a bag of pink foam shrimps and you’ll be friends for life!
